Privacy Policy

Creative Word, operated by Soda Pop Studios, is designed for private, focused reading. The service does not sell personal information, show advertising, or use third-party advertising trackers.

Information stored in your browser

On the web, bookmarks, reading progress, reader themes, text settings, and daily-reading preferences are stored only in your browser. Creative Word does not receive this information. Clearing browser data or changing browsers may remove it.

Library and search activity

The web service retrieves prayers and writings from its hosted library. Search terms are used to return results but are not included in Creative Word analytics. Prayer text, reading history, bookmarks, and reading progress are not sent to analytics.

Anonymous usage information

Creative Word may record limited anonymous session information—such as application version, local day, a random installation identifier, and a random session identifier—to understand overall use and reliability. It does not include advertising identifiers, account information, reading content, search terms, bookmarks, or precise location.

Location and orientation

If you use qiblih guidance, your browser may request location and device-orientation permission. These readings are used on your device to calculate the direction toward Bahjí. Creative Word does not store or transmit the location.

Support messages

If you use the support form, Creative Word stores the email address, topic, and message you provide so the request can be answered. A one-way hash derived from the network address may be used temporarily for abuse prevention. Support messages are scheduled for deletion after 120 days. Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.

iOS and iCloud

The iOS app stores its library and reading state on-device. If iCloud is available, bookmarks may sync through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage. The web app cannot access those iCloud bookmarks.

Service providers

Creative Word uses hosting, database, email-delivery, Apple, and app-distribution services only as necessary to provide the service. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy commitments.

You can decline location and orientation permission, clear browser-local data through browser settings, and contact us to ask about a support message.
